DoFollow and Top Commenters

As you may have seen from my notice above, I have decided to activate the DoFollow plugin and Top Commenters. I believe this along with my great content will encourage discussion, because I know that I am motivated when it comes trying to be the top commenter or knowing that I will recieve a link back for commenting.
I read about Randa Clay who decided to start a movement for people to installed a DoFollow plugin, so I have joined as so should you.
So for a free link-back and some good link love, become a top commenter and hey you never know when I might reward my top commenters for being active participaters.

Interesting idea, maybe I will have to give it a try. Have you seen an increase in comments?

Yes, so far I have seen a slight increase in comments. But I am sure they will increase in time. I have to kind of start from scratch on building traffic again since I have changed my blog theme. By using DoFollow, it can only help your comments.

Hi, I just added Do follow after reading about on another site. To be honest before that I assumed google would be automatically following links, seems strange that isn’t the wordpress default?

Well, it originally was to prevent spam, but that was pretty much a failure, so it should be by default. Maybe in the future version.

I saw your post on David Airy’s site that you’ve joined the Do Follow movement, and I see that you’re using it.
I recently wrote a post on the DO Follow movement in attempt to encourage others to follow suit.
