Craigslist.org – You will never go back!

The days of classified ads in the newspaper and the big nickel are over. Since its conception, Craigslist.org has grown to approximately 450 cities reaching to over 10 million users and 5 billion page views in a single month. These numbers have made it the 34th most popular website on the internet and it continues to grow. With 500,000 new job postings each month and the public’s fast transition to online classified ads, craigslist.org will no doubt take over all classified ads in the future.
Craigslist.org is most well known for people being able to sell their stuff (houses, toys, etc.) locally without having to pay a dime or for businesses to be able to post job opportunities with much better success than a newspaper. The parts that aren’t known as well are the forums, community discussions, and the serious but definitely humorous Personals section.
The forums section of craigslist.org is somewhat plain and simple looking and is not the easiest style to read, but the large group of participants makes these forums desirable. After all why would you post something on a forum unless you were either trying to get feedback or give feedback? The more people there are the better chance of feedback success. For example just I noticed that in the last 24 hours there have been over 25 posts related to divorce. I am not saying that divorce discussion isn’t important, but why would anyone talk about divorce on a forum? The point I am making is that if you get enough people together than you will find people who talk about their divorce issues with strangers. So if you need to get an answer to something give the forums a try, because you sure have a lot of people who might be able to help you.
As far as the community discussion, I don’t really know anything about it other than it appears to be a good source for community events. I definitely will be reading more about it.
I said I would talk about it and this will be my favorite part of this article, the personals section. At first thought, you think of the personals section as a good section to meet people in your community to go on a date and live happily ever after. The only huge problem with using the personals in the manner is that 75% of people don’t put their picture up. I don’t know about you, but I would never reply to an ad knowing that the person might be 500lbs. If they can’t put up a picture, then they really don’t care that much, so why put up an ad in the first place? So now that I have ruled out the usefulness of that part of the personals, I will talk about the more useful and very comical “Casual encountersâ€. Yep, it is as it reads a place to find casual encounters with local people. I mean what better service than to offer the ability to connect two people that are looking to get some. I mean this must make a lot of lonely people happy! Frankly I find it as being ridiculously desperate that is why it is so freaking funny, so if you want a good laugh check the ads out sometime. As a bonus to checking it out maybe just maybe you will find a hottie waiting to fulfill all your desires. Good Luck! casual encounters, craigslist, forums, Online sales, website reviews
